For months we melted wax in the garage. Two hotplates, a few pots, improvised filters. It worked – but it was clear we couldn't scale that way. Today, after weeks of renovation, our workshop is ready.
What the Workshop Can Do
The space in Metternich has room for everything we need: sorting line, melting station, filtration, pouring stations, and storage. For the first time, we can work in parallel – while wax is being melted at one station, candles are already being poured at the next.
Handcraft with a System
Every candle at Wachswandel is handmade. But handcraft needs good infrastructure: clean work surfaces, reliable temperature control, proper storage. The workshop gives us that. And it gives us something we lacked in the garage: room to experiment.
New molds, new colors, new blending techniques – much of it wouldn't have been possible without this space. We look forward to everything that will be created here.
